Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Verso account and the data associated with it. Verso is a running and fitness tracking application operated by TOTAL IT. You can delete your account yourself from inside the app — no approval from anyone else is required.

How to Delete Your Account

Follow these steps in the Verso mobile app:

Open the Verso app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Go to the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Select Delete Account.
Read the warning and confirm the deletion request.
Your account is closed straight away and you are signed out of the app.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted you will no longer be able to sign in, and your running history cannot be restored. If you want to keep a copy of your activity data, save it before submitting the request.

If You Cannot Access the App

If you have lost access to your device or cannot sign in, you can still request deletion by emailing [email protected] from the email address registered to your Verso account. Please include the full name on the account so we can verify the request. We will confirm by email once the account has been deleted.

Data That Is Deleted

When your deletion request is confirmed, the following data is removed from Verso:

Profile data	Name, profile photo, date of birth, gender, height, weight, occupation, and bio	Deleted
Running activity history	Distance, duration, pace, calories, elevation, GPS routes, and activity photos	Deleted
Event participation	Registered events, BIB number, category progress, and completion records	Deleted
App preferences	In-app settings and notification device tokens	Deleted

Your name and results are also removed from any event leaderboard you appeared on.

Data That Is Retained

A limited set of records is kept after deletion because we are legally required to keep it, or because it can no longer be used to identify you:

Payment & transaction records	Order and payment records for paid event registrations are kept to meet accounting, tax, and consumer-protection obligations	Retained
Aggregated statistics	Anonymized and aggregated usage figures that no longer identify you as an individual	Retained
Technical logs	Automatically collected data such as IP address, device type, and access logs, kept for security and fraud prevention	Retained

Retention Period

Retained data is kept only for as long as it is needed, in line with the retention schedule published in our Privacy Policy:

Data you provided — retained for the duration of your use of the Application plus 12 months thereafter, unless a longer period is required by law (see the Privacy Policy).
Automatically collected data — retained for up to 24 months from the date it was collected, unless a longer period is required for legal compliance.
Aggregated and anonymized data — retained indefinitely, because it no longer identifies you.
Data required for legal compliance — retained for as long as applicable law requires, and then deleted.

Note: deleting the Verso app from your device does not delete your account. Uninstalling stops the app from collecting new data, but your account and data remain until you submit a deletion request using the steps above.
